Mont Ventoux : The giant of Provence (1912 m).

Fontaine de Vaucluse: natural source of the Sorgue that springs from the ground at the foot of a 230 m cliff.

The Provençal Colorado: remains of an old ochre quarry on an area of more than 30 hectares.

The Alpilles: exceptional mountain range with famous towns and villages such as les Baux de Provence, Saint Rémy en Provenc

Truffles The famous truffle markets, with their special atmosphere, take place in winter (Fridays in Carpentras and Saturdays in Richerenches). Once during the season (the last week of December),a big truffle market is organised in Ménerbes, where one can also the Maison de la Truffe et du Vin du Luberon (house of truffle and wine of the Luberon), offering plenty of information on those subjects.

Walking and hiking
Walking and hiking are probably the most widespread and easiest sports in this region which boasts a very well sign posted network of walking and hiking trails (from easy walks to hikes over several days) trough this beautiful nature landscape.
Cycling The Luberon is an El Dorado for all cyclists, offering numerous possibilities: from rides along the little country lanes of the valley through the vineyards, over the hills of the Luberon towards Lacoste, Bonnieux, Gordes, Venasque, to the difficult routes of the gorges of the Nesque, the Murs mountain pass or even of the Mont Ventoux. Canoe / Kayak
A bit further, but perfect for a day’s outing, are the spectacular gorges of the Ardèche and Verdon, famous canoeing paradises (for sportsman and experts).

Climbing
For climbers who prefer natural sites, the Luberon offers a great variety of possibilities such as the Buoux’ cliffs (appr. 30 km), Lioux or the Dentelles de Montmirail (appr. 35 km), climbing El Dorado.

Horse riding
There are several riding stables and pony clubs within 10 km of the hotel who offer guided tours for all levels.

Wellness and fitness
