So you don’t loose your head before arriving at Le Mas des Grès, we are pleased to inform you that a new roundabout has appeared on the RD 901 at the cross between l’Isle sur la Sorgue and Apt on one side and Lagnes and Petit Palais on the other.

Le Mas des Grès is still located at about 650m from this new junction, when following the road going to Gordes and Apt. Please also note our new offical address :

News 2011 from Le Mas des Grès

This is our 16th season which begins March 18 at the Mas des Gres.

We put everything in place in the hotel from Friday to

Truffles Weekend of March 18 to 20 followed by Cooking with Thierry of March 21 to 25

New in 2011 : wellness holiday to suit your needs for a weekend or a week, combined with an outing with friends or training.

This winter we took the closure to install a solar water heater that produces hot water with the sun of Provence. Furthermore we replaced water faucets in showers and baths with thermostatic mixing!

As the outdoor pool will be heated from Easter until late October 2011.

The ping-pong and sand place have been replaced and looks happy children who benefit from the offer little princes and princesses at the Mas des Gres and the surrounding area.

Despite all the news, there are values ​​which we hold: If there is a job where you can not relocate or robotics, it is ours: we have the chance to communicate our business to our employees who are loyal and return every year. Our guestbook will be expanded to host a page about them.

We invite you to share your memories at the Mas des Gres: this will feed into the book we want to put in place for 2012. There will be recipes and jokes of Thierry, stories of Nina and perhaps your memories or drawings. All in good humor, that we are privileged to share with you.

Truffles The famous truffle markets, with their special atmosphere, take place in winter (Fridays in Carpentras and Saturdays in Richerenches). Once during the season (the last week of December),a big truffle market is organised in Ménerbes, where one can also the Maison de la Truffe et du Vin du Luberon (house of truffle and wine of the Luberon), offering plenty of information on those subjects.
